Matt Hillier Profile
South Coast based photographer Matt Hillier discovered the camera and his love of photography aged 17. From here he began his journey into photographic arts, going on to study at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth, followed by Salisbury College of Art to gain a BA hons in Photo media.
Along with his portrait and wedding photography work along the South Coast of England Matt has travelled the globe with a camera photographing the people and places he meets and finds. He has also worked as a focus puller for television and film productions, counting both the BBC and ITV amongst his previous employers.
Whilst Matt's skills in photography cover all angles he particularly excels in portraiture, reportage, wedding photo journalism and studio based work. Whether operating as a wedding photographer on the Isle of Wight, or shooting portrait photos in the streets of California, Matt takes pictures in a contemporary style with a unique feel and look.
